Dr. Robert Switzer
Chief Scientific Officer and President

Dr. Switzer and his wife are the two founding partners that established NeuroScience Associates in 1989. He is the innovator behind NSA's MultiBrain® and MultiCord® technology and his full biography is located online here, along with an extensive list of publications.

 

 

Dr. Stan Benkovic
Staff Scientist

Contact Dr. Benkovic

Dr. Benkovic has extensive knowledge and expertise in the neurotoxicology field along with comprehensive research and publication experience. Joining the company in 2010, he has been an immeasurable resource of practical neuroscience experience and technical advice for the NSA team. Britt
Chief Financial Officer/Chief Executive Officer

Britt oversees the financial and technical planning for NSA from the Virginia location as well as the legal and contractual operations. She has previous experience in the global telecommunications industry in both the financial and technical realms and started with NSA in 2002.

 

 

Robert
Vice President, Account Management

Robert oversees corporate accounts for NSA from the West Coast location. Robert's expertise is in project management, regardless of the size or scope of the project at hand. Prior to starting with NSA in 2004, he worked for several major technology firms at the executive level.

 

 

Chris
Vice President, Buisness Development

Chris started with the company in 2001. He is responsible for developing new business and draws upon his comprehensive background in project management, sales development and executive management to provide each and every client with a quality result and exceptional personal service.

 

 

Julie
Laboratory Director

Julie calls upon her many years of laboratory experience to oversee the operation of the entire Tennessee facility and its personnel. Prior to her start with the company in 1989, she worked in the medical field which provided her an invaluable resource of information, experience and education.

 

 

Jim
Chief Neurohistologist

Jim is the Chief Neurohistologist for the laboratory in Tennessee and began as a histologist in 2001. Jim has developed his many years of experience and honed his specialty in research and development, accompanied by a specific interest in developing better histology techniques.

 

 

Claudia
Antibody Specialist

Claudia brings her extensive biology and research experience to NSA as of 2006. Claudia assists and oversees technicians in the Tennessee facility to ensure that each client achieves the best possible results every time. In addition, Claudia is a resident expert in antibodies and provides a wealth of knowledge in that field.

 

 

Josie
Administrative Director

Josie incorporates her extensive operational management experience into her daily oversight of several areas of NSA, including human resources, communications, design, vendor relations, IT, and legal review.

 

 

MJ
Operational/Administrative Assistant

MJ joined NSA in 2009 after relocating to Tennessee from Maine. She is responsible for a variety of different tasks at NSA, including administrative, purchasing, and IT assistance.

 

 

 

Stephanie
Accounting Specialist

Stephanie began with NSA in 2010 in an administrative role and later moved into the Accounting Specialist role. Stephanie handles the Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable operation and assists both clients and vendors.

 

 

Carol
Administrative Assistant/Tradeshow Coordinator

Carol joined NSA in 2009, initially working in the laboratory as a technician. Since then she has taken on the role of Tradeshow Coordinator and assists in the planning of domestic and international shows and events.
