Stock solutions:

• Monobasic sodium phosphate: 0.2 M: 27.6 g / liter of dH20

• Dibasic sodium phosphate (anhydrous): 0.2 M: 28.4 g / liter of dH20

Note: Be sure the dibasic is anhydrous and not hydrated; the formula weights will be different.

 

Phosphate-Buffered Saline Working Solution pH 7.2: 

	500 ml	1000 ml
Monobasic sodium phosphate	140 ml	280 ml
Dibasic sodium phosphate	360 ml	720 ml
Saline; NaCl	4.5 g	9 g
